Kyosho RFID tags are [wiki:ISO15693tags 13.56MHz ISO15693 tags] made by Phillips/NXP. The tags are small and must be mounted on the bottom of the cars for them to be detected. The Kyosho tags come preformatted with data for use with the [wiki:KyoshoICLapCounter Kyosho IC Lap Counter]. In order for the tag to be used with the [wiki:KyoshoICserialcom#AutomaticPollingMode automatic polling mode] that the [wiki:KyoshoICLapCounter Kyosho IC Lap Counter] supports the first 3 blocks must be formatted as indicated [wiki:KyoshoICserialcom#TagInitialization here]. The remaining blocks of data contain the name used by the Kyosho software. In the example below blocks 3 through 6 contain the text "Test Car Name".
