Generic RFID tags must be initialized before they can work with the Kyosho IC lap counter. A separate program called Kyosho RFID Tag Init has been created to initialize generic tags and can be downloaded from the www.flipsideracing.org website.

WARNING: Do not initialize Kyosho tags such as those on the dNaNo, if you do they will probably no longer work with the Kyosho software. Only generic RFID tags need initialized.
